On
the first visit the practitioner will start by asking a number of
questions in order to build up a picture of the problem. These
questions are far ranging so feel free to ask why this question is
important.
After this initial questioning a full physical examination will be
carried out. You need to change down to your underwear for this
section so please ensure you are wearing suitable garments. During
the examination you will be asked to perform different movements in
order to aid the diagnosis.
When the physical exam is over we may need further tests, which may
be carried out on site where possible. When the testing is complete
we will proceed with treatment if it is possible. If not we will
offer referrals.
